languages and meaning

Sternenklarer Mondgesang streift über gefrorene Ähren,

unterbrochen nur

von dem plätschernden Rinnsal des einst so mächtigen Flusses

kauernd wachen Eulen auf Ästen im Winterschlaf

The moons starlit song brushes over frozen ears

Only interrupted by

The purl of a once so mighty stream

Owls watching cowered on hibernating branches

Over at dVerse tonights Bartender Frank had us write a poem

in another language, come over for a drink, enjoy the different varieties

of poetic endavours and maybe share one of yours…

Writing Prompt

The wonderful Susan Daniels came up with this writing prompt:

“Behemoth. Any way you want to work it, singular or plural, let´s

write about the beasts-animals we love, the pulse of nature.

Any way you want to…”

So, fellow poets, writers if you want to join us, feel free to engage, share,

Write. Post your Poem on your blog and then link back to Susan L. Daniels

POETRY PROMPT

Dear fellow WP-ers, lets do a writing prompt.

Lets write about freedom, about freeing oneself.

For various reasons, and also because of a blog post

of a fellow writer http://www.kseniaanske.com i am

contemplating over the term freedom and art. What is it

that truly frees us from painful pasts, bad habits, stuckness

in life?

I myself will write another poem on this very matter. So.

If you are up for it, write something and link it back

to my comment section.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Prompt will be up till Sunday.

I wish you all, sincerely, a wonderful weekend.
